Greek Perfume Bottle, Siren

Greek Perfume Bottle, Siren

Handcrafted Replica Ancient Greek Siren Perfume Bottle – Inspired by the Palazzo Leoni Montanari Collection

Details

Perfume has been fragrancing our lives for thousands of years, and the Greeks have been producing perfume for both men and women for millennia. These highly prized scented oils were stored in beautifully crafted bottles, such as this red-slipped siren bottle.

In Greek mythology, sirens were dangerous and enchanting creatures, known for their ability to lure sailors to their doom with hypnotic songs. Often depicted as half-bird, half-woman, this bottle is based on an example displayed in the Palazzo Leoni Montanari in the Veneto region of Italy.
